Still don't understand their business model of subsidizing phones for use
on competing operators network
02 dish out free upgrades to their best cutomers as a way of retaining their business as rollover yearly contracted customers. Were not talking about cheapskates who have the 15 quid a month contracts. These handsets go to the guys who are on the 60-75 quid per month contracts. Lets not forget all these phones are made in China for a hell of a lot less than the money they change hands for also.Originally Posted by lom
Obviously, because if you were a viewer of that site you would be clued-up about what it is you are offering for saleOriginally Posted by bkkandrew
Actually, what you are offering for sale and what you are selling are not the same thing
The thing you are selling is going for about 300 quid on ebay.
The thing you are offering is going for about 450 quid on ebay
Everybody else can draw their own conclusions on that

Yes, this has been common practice by most operators since long.Originally Posted by Spin
There it is. You pay for your "free" phone.Originally Posted by Spin
Oh absolutley, theres no such thing as free anything in the UK, except maybe the air you breathe? I think there will be a tax on that soon though.Originally Posted by lom
Is that true BkkA!!?
you say you are selling a nice unlocked phone that can be immediately used in Thailand
he says that you actually have a different version that will not work
Maybe if you took it out of the box and put a SIM card in, you can check it and make sure it is unlocked
furthermore, as you have been in the UK and you only recently received the phone, how do you know what the dealer in Jujusco will give you? for the version you have in its box
I have reported your post
If you read the thread, you would discover that I have 'my' N96 that I obtained when renewing my contract a while ago, which accepted my O2 SIM and my AIS SIM quite happily.
The phone for sale is from the same company and should be identical, as it is the same model. It comes as a result of my wife's renewal of her airtime contract. I have not opened it, as then it would not be 'new' and 'box sealed'.
Due to remarkable technology, I phoned the owner of the shop we use in Jusco and asked him. Being a mobile phone shop and him being the owner, he already knew what an N96 was.
Is there anything else that you need some help with? Easing you out of your chair? Bag change?
bkkandrew is a scam artist, he got seriously pinned this time by Spin
hey bkkandrew, where are you ?
got your daily red already so I am assuming you are still alive
^And are sure as shit, my stalker arrives.
What the fuck are you talking about now?
Realy? I'm sure if it was spin doing the selling and Andrew saying what spin has said then you would be saying the same thing, you would agree with spin just because you have some problem with Andrew.Originally Posted by Butterfly
How do you know Spin is correct and not Andrew, afterall Andrew does actualy have the phone at hand.
BF, I have noticed your attitude recently, why not meet up with Andrew and inspect the phone youself, If you are so sure about what Spin has told you lets have B10,000 on who is correct on this one.
I will back Andrew, are you up for it?
The catch 22 here is that he can't be sure it works until he opens it and he can't sell it as new if he opens it.Originally Posted by English Noodles
I'm still interested, wanna come here, play some golf and i'll buy the phone from ya.Originally Posted by bkkandrew
I'm quite happy for him to open it, check that it works and still sell it 'as new'Originally Posted by NickA
If you read the thread, you will see that I have already linked to a thread that states that the early versions of the n96 released in the uk at the time you got yours were unlocked.Originally Posted by bkkandrew
The one you are selling now is locked and requires unlocking. I'll put my house on it that it will not work in thailand before it is unlocked, preferrably in the uk.
I'm not playing a guessing game here. Knowing that phone will not work with thai simcards is like knowing that 2+2=4.
Because I have first hand experience of this matter. it would be a bit like me trying to dictate to you about multi-nicking and trolling on thai based forums. One of us is an expert and the other other is a fooking noviceOriginally Posted by English Noodles
And besides, Andrew just needs to take the thing out the box and check it, something he seems reluactant to do at this point in time. No idea why.
Also the old chestnut "oh the box has been opened and it isnt new" doesnt count for shit in this second hand phone trade. people are still willing to pay top dollar for an opened box, all you need to state is that it was opened to check that it is unlocked and will work on any sim.
Check the sellers description and the final selling price the thousands of phones that sell on e-bay every day to confirm this!
As do thousands every day.Originally Posted by kingwilly

ask Spin what he thinks about you if you want to hear insults
as for your phone, if you have read the thread, that model may have changed since the time you received the original one, or did your supplier say that it was definitely unlocked?
sell it to the fucking dealer, make us all happy that you can get a fortune without bothering us
absolutely not, maybe I would say nothing or "correct" his mistakes if I knew there was one.Originally Posted by English Noodles
Because bkka has an history of lying and dishonesty, unlike Spin, when he is confronted with facts. This is happening again here and as soon as he is exposed, he goes into twist and circles to avoid admitting anything. It's quite funny, and fits his usual pattern.Originally Posted by English Noodles
Why would I want to do that ? I think Spin evidence are good enough to know that bkka again forgot to check the facts before making claims.Originally Posted by English Noodles

you better check your facts then, because the first thing he will do when he buys it, will be to open the box in front of you to make sure it works.Originally Posted by bkkandrew

What 'truth' am I diverting attention away from?
Here's your answer:
? Not insulting anybody on this thread, just pointing out an issue that might cause headaches later on
So, let me see, I start a thread, you post on it, but in some way I am bothering you? Can you run that by me again?
Link?
You see there isn't one. You lie, deceive and then post more lies to divert attention from the times when I have shown up your lies and deceipt. I assume that is now why you stalk me round the forum, as I suspect you feel anger that you cannot get away with posting lies on this forum any more.
^So a question from you, followed by an answer from Spin is actually an insult from me.
Which nic are you suggesting I operate by remote control?
So now that the airport is open R ya gonna fly here for a golf trip and sell me the phone then?
