Wanted: Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse For Use With Samsing Note 3

    Hi Folks,
I am living in Kamphang Saen and want a full-sized keyboard and mouse for use with my Samsung Note 3. I can't find one anywhere in town. If you know where to get one nearby or have one on hand you would like to sell and ship to me, I will be glad to take it off your hands.

I want a regular sized/full-sized keyboard, not one of those little ones.

    Thanks!

Looks like the picture above shows an Apple keyboard and mouse working with the Samsung. Can this be true?

Yours will suit my needs if it works! But only if it works!

I have the Samsung Note 3.

I would not venture to guess what it's worth. What kind of shape is it in? Does everything work? Is it Bluetooth or just wireless? I don't think wireless will work here. It's got to be Bluetooth.

An interesting aside, here... I suddenly got the idea to go out and get an OTG connector. I wanted one anyway. Took it home and plugged in an el cheapo USB keyboard (Movada piece of crap from Tesco/Lotus that got slammed on the floor really hard a while back). It connected, but obviously something is jacked. Only some of the keys work at all and the ones that do are spitting out odd characters. My flash drive wouldn't work with the connector either. Said it was broken and that I should try reformatting it. Works fine in my old Dell laptop. What the hell? Anyway, if this thing works with the other keyboard I am going to try, I may need only a Bluetooth mouse, after all. But, then, again, perhaps the wire connection will cause the keyboard to suck more battery when in use? Maybe the Bluetooth is the way to go all the way around! Decisions, decisions.

I think i read somewhere that those OTG connectors only work with certain models of tablet or sometimes only on the ones with rooted systems.
So better check , before you knock yourself out trying to get it working.

    Yep apple keyboard.

Whilst I have not personally connected it to my Samsung S4 there is youtube vids showing how to do it.

Lemme drag it out of the cupboard so I can asses it's condition.

Yes,some smartphones are not OTG compatible. But this one is. The keyboard did work, but I think the keyboard is busted. The USB stick did not work, but it is old and it's got a Linux OS on it, so it probably needs reformatting. Another thing I forgot to mention was that I plugged my old USB mouse into it and it worked like a clock.

I have a Microsoft keyboard laying around here somewhere I know works perfectly. As soon as I find it I am going to give that a shot. Thanks.

I walked into RT Computers in Kamphang Saen yesterday and asked for a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They didn't have one. But I got myself a OTG connector the other day, and RT did in fact have an old USB keyboard lying around in the backroom. We plugged the connector into my Samsung Note 3, then the old USB keyboard, and it works like a clock. They didn't even charge me for it. Hard to argue with, "free gift for you, Sir!"

Not exactly the experience I was looking for, but it'll do, for now.

Thanks RT! You guys are great!
