Why don't you use this bike?
Do you find that if you're going off-road that the 250cc is better due to weight?
Reason I ask is I'm getting a new bike in the next month or so and was planning on a CRF m with a set of off road wheels and tires extra. However, if I up the monthly payments from 4k to 5.5k I can get a 500x. As the extra payment is minimal and the extra horses is significant I thought I'd go for the x and a set of knobbly tyres and wheels spare.
Only concern is heading up to north laos/china border. Maybe a 250 would just be easier to manuva and deal with on the mountain trails and tracks.
However, will do lots of on-road too obviously.
Would you go for the CRF or the 500x?
