@snubby - thanks for that. In grade school, there was this book "Lassie come home" or similar that I borrowed from the library. Lassie the dog was lost, then she found her way home. I think I cried at the end of that book. haha.. thnx for the memories.
My bone? Yes you would love it. It's big.Originally Posted by Nicethaiza

It was a popular TV show in the US. I was not old enough to watch it when it was new but my grandma would play reruns when I went to her house.Originally Posted by katie23

I think I watched an old Lassie movie on free TV as a kid - we didn't have cable. The Lassie book was donated by American schools or NGOs, I think. My school's old library had lots of donated American books - fiction books for reading. I borrowed loads of them - was a bookworm and my parents encouraged reading. Cheers.
^ Yep Katie. You are basically American. Flippo land is another state.
Slick however would disagree because you are brown in skin color..
Here you go dickie, try this place out.
I have another general question for you Richard. I'm gunna get to Pan Head land so i want to be tooled up before I land.
In out of the way places like your joint i would take it that the local fish head does not speak English. ?
Is that right.
^ You would be correct... only major hotels or airports, have English speaking (and more commonly, foreign bi-lingual) staff.
Best to learn a few basic phrases, or take an electronic translator...
To be fair, I found the Thais had much better English skills (in general).
