I got mine at Global House in Roiet. They have two sizes 20x20cm and 30x30cm. Bigger are more expensive but IMO look better.

We're using them everywhere so , yes, about 300 sqm.

Plus we need floor and wall tiles for two bathrooms.

My view is we only do it once so get the best.

No but unglazed. So after 7 years they look aged. Couldn't find the aged or aged look when I built but may be available now.

Don't recall but irrelevant as sure much higher now.

No problems really. Would have been but fortunately I was able to stop the tile guy after I spotted he had varnished a box of tiles because he thought the unglazed were mi suay. One box write off but could have been the entire lot.

Downside with unglazed is they stain easily. Hard to remove stains. You might be better to go with glazed.

One thing to think if you have the time. Big outlets like Boonthawarn have seconds. Which are perfect to the eye and the contractor. Think about looking for some of those to save just bit on the two bathrooms. Our first house we did this and saved a fortune.

Sounds like quite quite the project. A leaky bathtub on the second floor a couple of weeks ago resulted in all new tiles for my master bath. Again on sale. Then while we were there we saw all Dupont interior paint was 50% off. Went home and got the kids, The bedroom made for 18 month old daughters is being done for 13 year olds who think they are 16. Dont just go to one place. Make it a day with a stop at the Rim Ping market for all you need in great food for a while.

I'm led to believe by a spik friend that there's sealant/treatment you can rub in that seals terracotta and protects it. I shall seek further info.

There is. Several brands. Should be able to get in CM. Look for impregnating stone sealer. Works good on terracotta.

No worries. I'll be trucking them from CM to The wilds of the north. As and when I find the right product I'll let you know.
