A friend needs the contact details for a pig roast around Chiang Mai

we had one a couple of years ago by some guys that rolled up with a big metal box and charcoal; unfortunately, the guy that booked them has gone away

You could try Northern Farms. I think they organise it for the Chiang Mai Sixes, although I don't know if they do it themselves.

Lots of Moo Han vendors around Roiet. Should be some in CM area. If you don't get recommendation here suggest you ask locals where to buy Moo Han. Sure for a price the vendor would be happy to cater for your friend.
