the grey/brown cat with green eyes is amazing picture. lots of detail on the fur and great depth of field. trying to take similar pic myself last couple of weeks, but my cat look more like the one on the pic above that. feeding her expensive food and still she looks like just came back from a year in afghanistan...
^ hahaha
maybe teach her some meditation, that could keep her still.
bustak, some time ago you mentioned that u got the 18-55 f2.8 lens for your camera. any interesting photos from this lens? how does it compare to the fast primes you been using on your canon sofar?
^ let's put it this way, I only have 1 prime lens & I'm selling it!
The Tamron 2.8 is a superb all around lens. 98% of the pictures taken in this thread were from that lens.
The only criticism I have is it's loud when it focuses.
what are you replacing it with, B?
I meant that I didn't use the prime lens, my Canon 28mm f/1.8 USM. I mainly use the Tamron f/2.8.
The Canon prime lens is fixed lens at 28mm, the Tamron is 17-50mm (before the x1.6 conversion).
saw this little boy on the way home today:
here are a few I took a couple of days ago [at] Wat Umong:
I have a few more I can post, will do so later.
Great to have you and your photos back! I have been wondering where you had got off to. I look forward to enjoying you talented eye for framing a scene.
thanks a lot guys!
taken the past couple of days.
a pencil sharpener/dangerous power tool:
i keep staring at your photos and keep wondering why i like them. i'd say its your composition, it just works and works great for most of your shots. you make great use of off centre focal point placement, but somehow you make it work even if your subject is dead centre. i cant explain that, magic maybe?
we know his secret (he told us)
he takes 1 million pics and shows us the ones that work
way to go, nice pics Bustak
Tried to post a picture for the first time since I started reading TD and couldn't .Upon further reading of the fine print it says" may not post attachments"
Just curious as to why...or am I just too techno-stupid to figure out how to do it?
Cheers all
