New to Chiang Mai - anyone want to hook up?

Will be back in LOS in a few days if all go's well. My wife took ill though, she will be ok, got the required medication sorted out. Meeting up with a couple of friends from UK in early Feb so if you are about we will all be in CM for 3 or 4 days and could perhaps meet up for dinner if you wish?

if you have any problems getting to Mai Rim, you can get a yellow bus from Chang Puak road, cost B14 to MR market, then a motorcycle taxi to the farm, cost B20/30or hire your own tuktuk; cost around B200

I don't have time to check these boards properly as I'm so bogged down with assignments and lesson plans etc for my CELTA (which I should be doing now!!) shame I missed it, hope there might be a next time!

Tuskers most friday nights is a good place to be, many 20-30 ish teachers who like to party hard and the owners chas n rachele are always very convivial hosts who also know how to party, rachele especially who is a big part of the ladies social scene here.

Miss K, sorry for not being able to meet up with you at present. I kind of had a problem or two with schedules, which as you will learn for yourself have no real meaning in the true sense of the word in LOS.

I am hoping to get back on a so called schedule for what it's worth in the next day or two, but alas I am meeting up with some old friends from the UK and will be taking them on a tour of the highlands around Fang, Pai and Mae Hong Sorn.

It's a terrible life isn't it!
