Case in point. had some dental work done recently. There was: 1. The young (20ish) receptionist (very cute) 2. The mid twenties dental technician (less facially attractive, but a wicked bod) 3. The general dentist, older lady, mid to late forties, slim, attractive, professional 4. The specialist dentist, early thirties, very attractive, a bit plump but great sense of humour 1 and 2 less english, 3 and 4 pretty good english. All gave of an "approachable" vibe (particularly 1, 2 and 4) - I am in a relationship, so nothing for me to give a punt to - BUT if I was looking, any of them would be worth the investment of a "fancy a coffee?" Personally, for a decent relationship, I would look seriously at number 3 or 4.

No way are you living a good easy life on 30k a month

What a good easy life is to you may not be the same to others... I wouldn't want to live on 30k per month either, but I know folks that do very nicely on it and are very happy.

It depends on how westernized (and how lazy? superior?) you want to be.

I like to be a bit westernized and a bit lazy, so I like the 50-60k monthly range, but even then I can spend 300k per month and feel unhappy; to come here and want a western lifestyle (as I do to some extent) is a mugs game really...

And as to whether 40K is enough, the answers is "it depends". For me, I wouldn't fancy trying to live on 40K. But that doesn't mean you can't live well on that 'cos plenty seem to.
