Mom’s cottage is one of the latest additions in Wangnamkieow district. With beautiful gardens it’s a good place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat and enjoy the view.
A cup of tea and a slice of cake?
Aunt Sally and clan..

Out near Khao Yai. That's a long way to go for an overpriced fruit shake.
Nice pics, chitty, thanks. Were they your pics? If not, then you should put the source.
Looks nice. If I was passing I just might stop.
--EDIT--
Double post.
We drove very close to that place yesterday... took the back roads home to Korat from Pak Chong.
Beautiful scenery around that area.
Americanos, Green teas and Caramal Macchiatos.
About as Worldly Wise as Snubby
Yeah you'd think they'd at least offer Bovril.
"Mom's Cottage"
They could start by giving it an English name.
there has been a proliferation of these artisan style eateries in thailand lately.
a more natural farmhouse, additive free, hard working peasant, salt of the earth, lets hear it for the community ambience rather than the chrome, neon, corporate, fast food, loads a money style that dominated new independent eateries a few years ago.
when on the road, once you can get past the contrived instagram selfie friendly look, these places are in fact much nicer to spend time in than the chrome places, and as nearly always in thailand, they take pride in their food. sometimes though, its just macro sourced chem food tarted up to look home cooked.
Well, if you fancy a room temperature can of Heineken and a pumpkin, yeah.
No point turning on the a/c with just you and your company there, though.
