I don;t think anyone has an issue with Mr. P loosing face or not, I believe the concern was about Thailands credability - which as taken a serious blow. Again.

Actually, their immediate U turn has probably saved their credibility, as it proved to be an honnest mistake or total incompetence from the BoT, likely to be remembered for years to come.

But keeping the measures for condos and the bond market, doesn't look good. How about suspending the bond market instead ? would seem more interesting as a desperate measure.
