Thread: Bank of Ayudhya $/EU account

I need to open a foreign currency account with Ayudhyu and wonder what peoples experience with them are like. I particularly need their online banking so I can transfer money to the mrs and sons accounts - both Ayudhya as well while I'm away at work.

Alternatively I would almost prefer to have an account with Siam Commercial bank from researching here, they sound a better option but would I be able to transfer money online from there to the Ayudhya accounts?

I would be transfering money to them from overseas and the account need would to be able to hold both Euro and US$

Also need a internationally recognised (iene that works anywhere in the world) ATM debit card.

Too much to ask for?

The Siam Commercial Bank online facility is superb. You can transfer money between SCB accounts and from SCB to other Thai banks instantly. You do need to set up the other accounts beforehand but that is hassle free and merely involves them sending a passcode, which is generated automatically, to your mobile phone.

The ATM Debit card is a Maestro/Mastercard which works worldwide.

The one I have is a Thai Baht account but it does have a facility to transfer to overseas accounts too, which I have not activated yet. For Other currencies you would need separate accounts which could then be linked to the Baht account. They provide accounts in the following currencies:
