There will be a guy outside the hotel who will tell you that you have a very lucky face - he has a cousin who sells excellent suits (if Withnalls suggestion doesn't hit the mark)

Is that the Asia Hotel on Rangsit? If so I have stayed regularly at the BS Apartment opposite as it is a handy stoppover before heading North after a long flight in.

Anyway, I have no memmories of seeing any tailors in that area but almost certainly the hotel will have its own. It is, however, an excellent place for scoff, IT needs and general clothing with everything either in the same building or in a market area less than 200m away. The food market opens around 1630 and the night market opens a couple of hours later.

If you want a shag then the Siam Hotel is not far away. Not quite sure what it is like nowadays but in my shagathon years it was an OK place....

Quite honestly it is my favourite area to stay in...

If you walk out of the Asia Hotel main entrance, turn left, and three or four shops along you will see, "SAKS OF SIAM". the proprietors name is Sumit. He has made many things for me, and he's good. Measure in the morning, fitting at lunchtime, and wearing the suit in the same evening. He also does shirts, socks, ties, handkerchiefs etc, etc,. Good luck. !!

All of the staff there are friendly and a bit flirty except for the midnight gal with the rose apple nose.
There is a 24 hour restaurant just outside. You might have to wake the cook at 3am.
Each room has a bed, couch, tv and dvd player.

Jeremia, did you play anything in their dvd player in the room? Every room I have stayed at BS a blank dvd in the player. I remember the 1st time I stayed there with the wife, I noticed the blank dvd and pressed play. She was in shock to see 20 some guys impaling some ugly Eastern European porn amateur.

Yep..It is always reffered to as BullShit apartments!

It really is an OK place but the outside music bar has closed down and so has the Italian restuarent around the corner (Wine was shit but the food was excellent). We once had a porn dvd and quite enjoyed it. But this was when they still had "hourly" as part of the rooftop sign..hehehehe..

We still stay there occasionally, normally when my apatments in Patts are rented out. It is a good place to chill out either before or after a drive up North. I am a simple soul and love going to the foodmarket, grabbing a few bottles and going back to the room . Their corner units by the lifts are good too if you are with the kids. 2 TVs and the beds are not next to eachother as in other family rooms. Good value for money IMHO....
