Bangyai had to move; flooded. I know of 3 other posters that are completely flooded. They all moved out, don't think they can move back yet.

Yes, I've been very lucky. Two of my best friends (Thais, strangely) have been badly flooded; one lives in Laksi (ground floor condo ), the other lives out by the Bangkok/Nakhon Pathom border. It's very sad and costly for them. My friend in Laksi told me how her next door neighbour was found dead, floating in the water...

My house stayed dry, the floods never made it past the front gate.

That's good news. I have room at my place too, quite a lot of space - enough for the family and dog (although we'd have to take care to keep him separate from the cats!). We vacated to the top floor, so downstairs has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, big living room and lounge (garden for the dog) which we aren't really using at all now. You're welcome to use it for a week or so, as needed.
