Got an overnight stay here in a couple of days without travelling to far, any bars near by worth a mention?
If I remember right years ago walking down new phetchaburi rd from asoke was full of high rise fish bowls and small karaoke bars.
Got to get to Don Muang the next day should I get to bang sue then take a cab either way need to be there about 1pm.
No bars. Take a taxi. Also take a taxi to dm. Very quick from there assumin you do not leave before 9am
you'd be better off jumping a cab all the wayOriginally Posted by brisie

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

I've stayed there several times. Always been pleased with the rooms and price. Just make sure you get a refurbished room. Last time I was there it was only 100 thb for a large bottle of Heineken and the tom yung goong was superb. Bar is open all night. Great fishtanks if you like tropical marine.
I stayed there recently when I needed to visit the Embassy because with the street protests I didn't want to drive into Bangkok, so I took the airport train.
For $16 a night on Agoda it was a great bargain. Not a place I would go with a girlfriend, but great if you have business in Bangkok or want to enjoy the nightlife.
