It's a sad indictment of Thailand when the Western food is so atrocious (In Bangkok especially, outside of hotel restaurants it is pretty bad for a major city), yet these mediocre places still seem to be doing well.
I could name three or four places within spitting distance in Phnom Penh that do Full English better than anywhere you'll find in Bangkok.
That looks fucking awful, even the parsely looks old - what a turd of a breakfast, look at it; fatty bacon, poofy mushrooms from a tin, over ripe tomato on it's way out, dry cucumber, bland, flavorless mash, cheap sausage and cheap undercooked flemmy eggs, yuk!! Keep it.
What, that glass fronted shop house in Nana that has a bar? I had lamb chops in there once, I can't remember what they were like, only that I vowed not to eat there again.Originally Posted by Humbert

What?
No Spotted Dick mentioned?
1. You're in Batam, what do you expect?
2. Was it a western or indonesian meal, indo food can be pretty good for breaky, have a ayam bubur
That breakfast yesterday that I had was shite on a stick, I think I'll find a resto and get a proper feed today.

Witch's Pie Factory. Quite far down Thong Lo soi 1, probably 100 yards or so before the end, on the right hand side.

[quote=The Gentleman Scamp;1575161]Every wednesday morning I visit my wonderful dentist, deep in the heart of the sun drenched ghost town what is Patpong at 10:00 am.
Why do you go to the dentist every week ?
Obviously not for dental treatment ?
It is for dental treatment, hopefully it won't be forever but at least it's free.
You missed the warning sign. 99 baht English breakfast.
Heres one you should also understand Don't go pitching your tent around here.
Getting hungry now...
I'll be around Sanam Luang tomorrow, so maybe I'll make me way to the English place in Banglumpoo, their breakfast is okay, and they have PG Tips too, what a result... Maybe pick up a Subway Club tea.
Over-rated, IMO.Originally Posted by Thaihome
