I would also like to thank Aging One for meeting me at Don Muang and bringing me to his home to stay overnight. Aging One brought an esky full of beers along in the car along with a special Nepalese cigarette.

When we arrived at his home we sat and shot the breeze for about an hour. I was back in Thailand and was well pleased about it too.

The following morning Aging One introduced me to his wife and daughters and all I can say is that Aging One is a very lucky man. At eight years of age, his daughters are extremely polite and without question are very pretty young ladies. As is his lovely wife who I had the opportunity to engage in conversation.
I shall certainly be looking forward to seeing more of Aging One and his family.

Thanks Aging One. I am very pleased that you are part of this community.

Great thread cap. I would have thought that Royal Brunei would have been a lot cheaper then thai?

Seeing as you like a drink now and then what was the reason for not drinking any of the free grog on the plane?

Righto, now that the getting there thread is done, we are waiting for the pattaya thread!

Damn he didnt drink on the plane!! Thats why a six pack wasnt enough for him. I too really enjoyed meeting the Cap. He brought great presents for all. The kids got bear backpacks, the misses two types of chocolate and myself a rack of lamb.
When I loaded he and marmers into the taxi the next afternoon I too wanted to go down to Jomthien with them. But that is for later.

That may be but I dont speak Brunaiese and that would have meant a stopover in Bandee Ga Gooli wotsit.

I think that the effects of alcohol in a pressurized cabin are intensified. Besides I never drink during the day either.

I bumped into twinkle down at the beach yesterday and he told me that he has a special feature thread on Pattaya/Jomtiem coming very soon.

I have a few ideas for threads to put up over the next few weeks and am on the case.

You had the perfect flight to drink on!! Leaving Brisbane at 3:30pm and getting into BKK at 9:00pm. Damn they would have had to carry me off the flight.

But with your drinking prowess, Pops, they'd probably have to carry you off the BKK to CMX as well!

BTW: AO, when are you planning to get up here??
I'm sure the kids would love it at songkran.
