Ghosts - The World is Outside.
Not what i normally listen to but i think i forgot to delete it off my Ipod and it's come up on the random playlist. Not bad but not my style of music. Recommended for those who like Coldplay, David Gray style radio friendly music.

Some wonderful blues guitar from one of the masters.

Becks new album Modern Guilt
Steve Hacket - Voyage of the Acolyte.
A Mike Ness video from youtube, punching out a great version of a Bob Dylan song 'Don't Think Twice It's Alright'. Ness is the only remaining original member of an excellent punk band Social Distortion.

Monster Magnet - Unbroken
Alice Cooper - Welcome to my Nightmare
Handsome Furs - Plague Park
Of all the Wolf Parade side projects, this one sounds most like the full band. A real grower.

Hildegard von Bingen - Origin of Fire
Spooky Gregorian chants composed by German abbess in the 12th century.
I like listening to this stuff in the same way that I like looking at 1000 year old art in art museums. The idea that it was written so long ago, before so much human history had passed and has been performed in cathedrals across Europe for so many centuries and still sounds beautiful today gives it a special depth and perspective.
