    Talking Heads

And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
    And you may ask yourself

    Well...How did I get here?

    And you may ask yourself
    Am I right?...Am I wrong?
And you may say to yourself

    My God!...What have I done?!

One of my favorite Chinese songs... my ex gf beat me into liking some of her songs.. she made me this this at Karaoke lol... now I love them... spoken Chinese is crude, but when it's sung, it's beautiful.

Ralph Mctell is one of the finest of the current generation of British folk singer-songwriters. He has this wonderful, rich, resonant voice--emotional while still subtle. His songs are wistful, evocative, but also straightforward and singable. ...enjoy

There's four who share this room as we work hard for the crack
And sleeping late on Sundays I never get to Mass

It's a long way from Clare to here
It's a long way from Clare to here
It's a long, long way, it grows further by the day
It's a long way from Clare to here

When Friday comes around Terry's only into fighting
My ma would like a letter home but I'm too tired for writing

    Chorus

It almost breaks my heart when I think of Josephine
I told her I'd be coming home with my pockets full of green

    Chorus

And the only time I feel alright is when I'm into drinking
It sort of eases the pain of it and levels out my thinking

    Chorus

I sometimes hear a fiddle play or maybe it's a notion
I dream I see white horses dance upon that other ocean

    Chorus

It's a long, long way from Clare to here.

Music legend Finbar Furey talks about his remarkable career as one of Ireland’s most-loved folk musicians. The great man also treats the Late Late audience to a performance of one of his most beloved songs, “Sweet Sixteen”.

Are you for real Ralph McTell is in his 70's. The only hit he'd had was "streets of London in "1960 fuckin 9"

Current generation? Nah, you are having a laugh

Opinion's got nothing to do with it.
He's not current generation, the only hit he had was in 1960 and he's in his seventies.
    Simple facts.

A brilliant song trying to encourage people who feel like suicide to "Hold on" because "You're not alone" ... The lyrics are simple and easy to follow....the power is all in the execution.
