Ah...doesn't everyone have a summer of 69? .....just a great feel good song..no matter what meaning people attached to it.... the theme clearly goes in favour of a wave of nostalgia and will always take you back to your favorite summer....

A lot of Bryan fans dislike this song, because this marks his conversion from Rock to Adult Contemporary. They say he lost his edge as a result. However, I think Bryan Adams got much better with time, and this was musically one of his best moments. It's just a good song, no matter which way you dissect it.
