To be honest, I'm so fked off with the evil travesty that's unfolding on KT that I'm finding it hard to think positive.
I'll stick a few tunes on here to take my mind off it for a bit.
Prepare for take off.
Professor Longhair and Parkour.
Can't beat a bit of Blurt.
I went to see Hawkwind at festivals many times in the past. Nik Turner certainly conjured up the spirit of those times in this tune.
A little something for Saturday morning.

I saw this posted on another channel, but I think it's worth posting here.
Great tune by the Gorillaz, with Snoop Dogg in full-on Amiable Buffoon mode, wearing his winning entry in The Most Impractical Boots at Glastonbury competition.
When I first went to Glastonbury, it was a small-scale affair. (The last time I went, I saw Paul McCartney, there's a name-drop). I'm happy to see it became this.
The Sneaker Pimps had some fine tunes on their debut album, Becoming X.
Pronounced carnissals, anybody?
After the release of Becoming X, the band decided that they would have a better sound if they had a male singer, so they sacked Kelli Dayton.
A classic example of WTFness.
I believe the band suffered Kelli's departure on the two following albums. Kelli has a great voice but I'm guessing Chris Corner (co-founder) wanted it to be his band and Kelli's voice put her stamp on the band. According to wikipedia:Quote:

there are other members. Very good alternative rockQuote:
IAMX is the solo musical project of Chris Corner
