They don't call her "Madonna" for nothing.

time after time
Take a look at post 74 Blue,

Mamas and papas -Cass Elliot -- ''Dream a little dream of me ''
I'd post a youtube video of her singing it
but some things are better heard not seen....
Beautiful South do a good version of it too
Without doubt the most angelic voice ever.Originally Posted by blue
Lisa Kekaula from The Bellrays. A proper garage band lots of noise, the lead has an excellent voice, a gospel blues singer doing rock and roll, nothing new in that, but good stuff.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
David Armand mimes to Natalie Imbruglia's Torn at Amnesty International's Secret Policeman's Ball.
PJ Harvey.. probably a bit left field for most of you, but this is a belting performance.
Some wonderful singers here all ready. Sandy Denny of Fairport Convention and others, for me was one of the richest and purest of voices.
Not sure if this lady has been mentioned yet...Lisa Gerrard
Not exactly a rock/pop/blues/jazz voice but imho one of the greatest voices I have ever heard.
Used to like a bit of Throwing Muses and Kristen Hirsh meself.
My favourite album: Red Heaven.

(Never thought she was too good live, nice relaxing albums to listen to though...)
Cycling should be banned!!!
I wouldn't say that PJ Harvey was the greatest by a long way, but she can rock a bit.
Oops. Sorry Neo. Didn't see your post up there somewhere. ^^^^^
That's alright the more the merrier and better than all the Celine Dionne/Beyonce shyster shit. PJ is a bit hit and miss for me, don't really get into her wierd 'act' but when she rocks she's fantastic. A truly great lead has to perform live and she certainly can do that.
With our own back then... Jerney Kaagman
I also used to like Elizabeth Fraser's vocals from The Cocteau Twins, but I never saw them so I don't know about stage presence or whatever. Never could figure out what the hell she was singing, though.
The sleep of reason brings forth monsters.
Celine Dion by a country mile, a Diva with capital D.
^ Not the best on the eye though
I missed this Live performance but she's here, with the Phantom, just be patient btw... light up your heartbeat.

Liz Fraser is quite a character, but suffered terribly from stagefright and as a result basically stood still with her hands clasped behind her back. Great voice and a great sound live but nothing to watch particularly.Originally Posted by benbaaa
