Nope, its just old music rehashed Landy, nothing new about it. The so called R&B shite JPPR listens to is nothing if the sort - its just the same tunes with brothers and sisters warbling like they are trying out for gospel on sunday. The music scene globally over the last two or more decade has had very little new to it.
Fvck Marley and the wailers!
We should post up a youtube tune and guess what category/genre it falls into.
Tough quest...
For example....
This is classed as two tone..
This is classed as happy hardcore..
This is classed as Seattle Grunge..
How many classifications can we bang out?
Over to you TD musicologists in da mix

Ok let's make it more interesting what genre would you label this classic ...
This is what I listened to when I was young:
This thread has potential..
With the age of most of our posters this one should be right up there.
While I am not a country music fan, how would you categorize this?
Or this?
I like most music but love talented musicians particularly great drummers and bass players.
Recently I have been watching Daryl's House and you will see mega artists playing their songs with some of the best session musician's I have ever seen.
Being a drummer I prefer accompanying funk players and dislike playing 4/4 rock and roll.
I also like innovative music with Virtual Insanity.

i like most things - even some country music.
Don't like - the doors, pearl jam (except for better man), henry rollins and the beatles are pretty meh!
bit of russian hard bass ( a banger withheadphones or thru decent set of speakers)
pure pop - great footage too
country? (there is line from neil young harvest to this)
