I suppose I should help Marmite out here, he aint good at starting threads and that, this is where they take tourists to rip their wallets out thru their balls, the prices at this place bare no resembalance to the actual market prices across the road, so when you get stuck on that tour coach and lumbered there just cross the road for some normal prices which are about 70 percent cheaper.
Marmers, how many did you buy? I always say no when we visit shops and such but yet the car is full when we head home.
None. I saw some exterior lights that I wanted for my new house in a nearby shop, but I'll get all that stuff later. It'll be a good excuse to get Frankie to cook for me.
These ones are a bloody rip off.
Ok the first picture is the road you need to cross to get the stuff at non rip off prices.
The good deal they had at this place was the free water, couldn't find a glass though.
These Burmese army trekking sticks were for sale at 500baht each, across the road they were 170baht.
All these umbrellas are hand made and hand painted, they aint got no power tools here, they will also paint a design on your bumbag for 50baht.
What design did you get dd on ya bb?
I have a quality fake "Polo" bum bag so opted out on them doing a design on it, although I believe Marmite had a snake painted onto his knob, he is thinking about having a tatoo done on it to go with his peircings. strange chap aint he

What does a nice umbrella like shown cost? Think one can ship one to US and it will be intact?
No idea - this was nearly 2 years ago.Originally Posted by thailover36
