London Meet Up 18th August

Hi Guy there is a meet up in London on the 18th August at 6pm in the Cock & Dragon Pub in Cockfosters this was arranged by another Pattaya forum but all are welcome, it would be good for us to meet up for a chat and a few drinks and some Thai food if you want, I am attaching a link to the pub which gives directions on how to get there.

Cockfosters is at the top end of the Piccadilly Line on the Underground (Subway) and close to the great Trent Park.

Nice area.

Taxis or cabs back home could be costly though.

With respect, Cockfosters (where did that name come from?) hardly counts as a London meet up!

How about having it in London next time?

I would be happy going to such a meet, but would like to be able to get back to my part of town without the need for a passport and an overnight stay!

No problem but next time I don't think you will be allowed in as you say you need a passport ( what for to prove you age ? )

Can't be a TV meet-up. Firstly it's not advertised on TV and secondly, they would invite TD members only when hell freezes over.

Cockfosters is Hertfordshire but you can get Night buses home back into London..

Not according to that link, you can't! Nearest is Arnos Grove. Not a lot of help when you live on thre London/Surrey boarders. Still, have a nice time.

It was originaly a pattayaaddicts meet up but for some reason the OP has taken it upon himself and decided to post it here aswell as pattayasecrets and thaivisa that i know of, wether they deleted the post on TV or not i have no idea and basically can't give a toss, but it was originaly posted in the pattaya forum on TV.

Anyway bit far for me to travel from Pattaya, maybe next time.

O.K people claim down if you must know this has been posted on many Thai Forums (Apart from TV as they don't want to know) mostly by myself and MOD's from the forums we our trying to arrange a get together so people can meet up / make new friends have a few drinks and have a chat / laugh I don't think this is a bad idea as we all have 1 thing in common (we love Thailand) DJ Pat I think BM's are mature enough to make up there minds if they want to go
