Thread: Moonshine Place, restaurant and bar - Jomtien

Yep this is the place where a few of us met up this weekend, during the evening I got a bit hungry so had a look through their menu, it's mainly tex mex and looks pretty damn good, But then I saw their special of the day, Tbone steak with beans and baked potato at a mere 130baht, their normal price is 495baht, now that is a bargain and I like bargains.

So that is what I ordered, within mere seconds the young lady had thrown some cutlery on the table, I forgot to add that she didn't bother asking if I wanted it medium or whatever but who cares, the meal arrived and looked a bit small, it was nice but if I had paid 495baht for it I would have been well foked off, the beans had chopped up bits of bacon in and were really good, the sour cream in the baked potato didn't actually taste of anything, and no I didn't eat the skin of the potato as they are grown in dirt where worms and things live.

After eating my meal I decided to avail myself of the bathroom facilities which are located just outside the kitchen and found myself an uninvited guest there.

Anyway for all you scat fans out there, there was quite a nice basket full of used toilet paper, all in all quite a nice place with aircon inside, pool table etc, although if I had paid 495baht for that meal I would probably have just sent it back, I assume it was the smaller version of the one on the menu.
