Yip, he lasted longer than most. Just another gone to the scourge of our generation.
As you said he was a great developer of our new age. RIP

In a few years we'll all be dead. Only a few years on this planet to leave a mark. Jobs left a mark.

One of the all time entrepreneurial greats. He had a vision, stuck to it, and made it succeed.
I figured he was on the way out when he announced his resignation- someone like that doesn't walk away from his brainchild unless he absolutely has to. RIP.
He passes away leaving Apple neck and neck with Exxon as the largest US company by market cap- Microsoft (once the largest) left far behind. The question has to be asked- whither Apple?

he was a legend, but let's not forget he was an hysterical fucker and a nasty one

he was obsessed and he was a lunatic, but to be successful in business like he was, you need to be

Apple is doomed without him, above all when the competition is catching up and they have no one else with a vision

Apple stock is overpriced btw, see it crash now

Exactly what went through my mind when i heard the news.

I used to sell Apple computers, one of my fist job 20 years ago, and my best job so far.

Some people comes up with a great idea once in their life, but very few have such a number of No 1 hit like Jobs : Apple 2, Mac, Pixar, iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBook ...

A true genius, he really kept his promise from his 1984 adv

Have to admire someone who got wealthy by pure brilliance and contributed to the World in the process. Quite a contrast to the parasitic speculators.

I was just mulling this over. I do not have, nor never have owned an apple product.

Then I realized that I have also not had to type a Dos command line for nearly 25 years....

Sad to see Steve Jobs gone so quickly. I was thinking he would be around a bit longer.

    RIP, Steve.

he also made his money by exploiting people, letting his products being produced under unfair working conditions, no need to glorify that guy, he was neither a hero nor a genius, just a good salesman who understood y people buy.
