Police filmed dragging women and babies during protest

If this kind of treatment from the police doesn't outrage you then i don't know what will.

The way the police handle the children is just plain sick and just goes to show what power and authority the uniform wearing slaves thinks they have!!

While i agree immigration laws need to get tough, this is just outrageous!
    ______

London, England (CNN) -- A video has emerged showing French police evicting African immigrants with babies and children during a housing protest in a Paris suburb.
Police arrived in the north-east Parisian suburb of La Courneuve last Wednesday and asked a group of about 60 mostly women and children to move, said Michael Hajdenberg, a journalist with the French media organization Mediapart.
The group had been living in the street since being evicted from their council homes on July 8 to make way for a new housing project, he said.

I think it's outrageous that these illegals and immigrants turn up in foreign countries and demand the right for themselves and their brats to be housed at public expense. They were offered Hotel accommodation but they chose to stay put, the Police look liked they acted with restraint. Nothing more than a publicity stunt for the cameras using little kids, who were not dragged down the street. Boot them back to Africa where they belong.

^ Total bullshit. Yes, i agree they shouldn't be there. I also agree they can't demand rights in countries they are hoping to reside in. Police restraint, crap.

Publicity stunt is a typical response. Use kids to gain sympathy. Even so, still way over the top in the handling of those kids.

No, still not outraged. Playing up for the tv cameras.

Police unrestraint would be water cannon and battons, how else should they have removed them, pay them? They looked like they were doing the removal job carefully and the squatters, who were breaking the law, should have left as they were told to. Were any kids injured? don't think so, probably much to the disappointment of the film makers who just happened to have two cameras with them to record this non event.

The problem is politics and immigration is fucked up in the first place. Why allow them in the country? Why not send the fuckers straight back and not give them the right to protest in the first place instead of allowing police total dominant power to treat them like shit.

Countries like France and Holland would not be so rich today had they not
been able to exploit the natural resources of their colonies, some may say
they civilized the natives but they also did a roaring trade, it is hilarious to
see them whine and complain now when their colonial subjects come and
take advantage of them in their own country. Karma.

I have no time for them at all. The UK is imposing a cap on immigration of people from outside the EU, this cap will be set at 24,000 people and will start in May next year. That means if there is 24,000 people like these twats get in to the country in the first few months, then if you want to apply for a settlement visa for your wife then you will have to wait until the next quota.

    Fuck them.

True, but I wonder how they'll deal with EU passport holders that might flood in?

Do Gypsies hold EU passports? Or is it a policy in many countries to not
issue them with any documents at all.

The children will be brought up as a ward of the public dole, along with the parent/parents. Generations can and will suck all they can from the rest of the working people. The right to social benefits should have a price to those on the receiving end. The term work, comes to mind. The present situation/mind set of many countries and those who are abusing the system has to be approached in a differnt light, than what the bleeding hearts propose.

It's my understanding that with all of the different things that the UK is signed-up to and committed to with the EU that they can't do much.

Yet in the time since few, if any of the former colonies have been able to take advantage of those natural resources.

The police showed restraint. Shame on these mothers for using their children as shields. You can see where the police are trying to remove and protect the child and the women are more concerned with protesting, as opposed to the safety of the children.

Not many of the colonies in Africa became very civilized did they, can't even hold a fair election without a coup, er but than neither can other third world countries like Thailand.

To be fair to the UK, they are sending millions to bail out Crete , Costa Del Sol and The Algarve (if you have any spare cash can you send it to bail out Ballybunnion ?)

Yes good old Britain has never forced her religion, laws or culture on any other nation about this planet by just ignoring local laws and moving in and taking over the running of the place has she.
It is a discrace that those mothers knowingly use their children as a shield against force of eviction - they ought to be charged with putting the kids welfare at risk....if there is such a charge

So are you suggesting that because some undevelped countries were colonised hundreds of years ago this makes illegal immigration, law breaking and demanding free housing etc OK? As for slave labor from Africa I thought one of their lot was president now! There are bad things which happened to every country by others in the past, but all these apologies and hand wringing about these days are just excuses. Legal immigration by people willing to integrate has always been a good thing, America was built on it. But illegal immigration by the poor and unskilled is a great social burden, especially in EU countries and the UK in particular where many only sneek their way in for free benefits, health care and education. Africans have all got the independence they wanted and fought for, now let them get on with it without blaming colonisation for their evident failures, and without lying and smuggling their way into Europe.

I may put a claim in against the Italian government for suffering that my ancestors may have suffered under the Romans.
