UK Police investigate woman for not allowing homosexual sex in her bed

Gay couple banned from staying in B&B

A GAY couple were turned away from a British guesthouse after the owner said it was "against her convictions" to allow them to share a bed.

Michael Black, 62, and John Morgan, 56, booked into Susanne Wilkinson's guesthouse in the village of Cookham, southeastern England.

Its website boasts "a warm and friendly welcome awaits all."

But when the pair arrived at the Bed & Breakfast last Friday, they claim Wilkinson told them, "It's a double room."

She then allegedly made the remark about her beliefs.

Wilkinson, who refunded the couple's booking fee, said: "I've held my beliefs for years. I am not a hotel, this is a private house."

But Black argued, "We were treated like lepers."

"We had to drive straight home in the rain late on Friday night," added Morgan.

The couple reported Wilkinson to local police, who are now investigating claims of discrimination.

Similar story a few years ago about a christian BB owner.

Got to say we had some gay Germans on one of our boats some time ago.
    Shit everywhere.
We had to get an industrial cleaning company in as the valets refused to clean up.
    Don't blame them.

Odd one this. That place looks like not much more than a private house.
It's one of those 'your right to' and 'my right to' sort of issues.
I've been stopped from staying in places like this because I turned up on a large bike dressed in leathers (Not gay style) and just took it as the owners right to decide who stayed there and found somewhere else.
Be happy dudes. It's a lot more fun than crying.

should be 'tradesmans entrance, please use back door'

i think she is quite entitled to refuse them accomodation if it goes against her beliefs and its about time brown hatters showed respect for those that find homosexuality hard to swallow. society has been bending over backwards for 30 years now giving rights and priveledges to the gay fraternity, but they still keep pushing it down our throats.

why cant they just go off and find a quiet public toilet somewhere to practice their craft, just like they used to.

One of the most important freedoms is the right to only associate and do business with those people we want to, and that right has been totally lost in all Western countries. It's regrettable too that there are minorities or homosexuals who exploit our silly non-discrimination laws looking for a lawsuit. I would not want to stay where I was not welcomed or my business was not wanted. Don't the police in Britain have better things to do than this?

Lepers are better than gays in my book, so why are they whining if they have been treated better than what they are ?

Some people might think those 2 queers are drama queens, well they wouldn't be wrong, they belong to the huntingdon drama club Powered by Google Docs

    A Murder is Announced
    by Agatha Christie.
starring drama queen Michael Black (Inspector Craddock)
Michael is the Chair of Huntingdon Drama Club and both acts and directs. He
last appeared in Joking Apart in March, and will be directing our next production,
    Jane Eyre in November.
    Produced by John Morgan (Producer)
John’s association with Huntingdon Drama Club goes back 20 years. He
occasionally appears on stage, but is mostly to be found at the back of the hall
doing clever things with sound and lighting. After a variety of careers, John is
    now a computer consultant.

    From their website

    About Huntingdon Drama Club
Since 1944 Huntingdon Drama Club has produced at least two
plays a year. We operate on the principle that we’re all in it to
have fun and we’re mercifully free of egos, tantrums and politics.
We work very closely with other theatre groups, and we’re always
    delighted to welcome new members.
There are many roles within the club, all of equal importance. We
need people to work on lighting, costumes, set-building, front-of-
house, properties, special effects and publicity, just as much as
we need actors. If you’re interested please come along and meet
us. We’re very friendly and we’d love to have you on board. You
can find out more at our website
    Huntingdon Drama Club
or by calling our Chair, Michael Black on 01480-454486.
