Most of French Bank Heist Loot Recovered

Tony Musulin, the security guard for a French armored car company who made history with a $17.3 million heist, is not as wealthy as he once was. Authorities have recovered $ 14 million from a storage locker. But, that still leaves Tony with $3.3 million, probably a more manageable amount. So pack up those suitcases, Tony, and get out of town!

Perhaps not as well planned as initially thought, if Inspector Clouseau was able to track down the storage unit so quickly.

Knew an American deep sea diver who blew through a half million dollar insurance settlement in under a year on the strip in Manila. Also knew a one-armed Aussie diver in Phuket who went through about $350,000 in insurance settlement money in six or eight months. Booze and broads. Both eventually went home broke. But, they lived large for a while.

Would have been much better off with a lifetime annuity.

They sure would have. Basically, they both just blew it. Nothing real to show for it. Hundreds of rounds of drinks, barfine 4 or 5 a night, and then forget where they had barfined them and would pass out somewhere. The American was an ass anyway, but the Aussie was a good guy - just didn't give a shit.

In the hands of an offshore worker? 1 month exactly.

the amount of silly money in Pattaya is in obscene quantity,

between the crazy expats buying 40m THB condos, Tony Money Laundering Empire, the expensive monthly whores etc... there is hope for eternal growth in Pattaya
