    OJ Simpson has been freed

OJ Simpson has been freed from prison after nine years

The news was announced on Sunday morning.

OJ Simpson has been freed from prison on parole after serving nine years for armed robbery.
The Associated Press announced the news on Sunday morning.

BREAKING: Nevada prison official: O.J. Simpson has been freed on parole after 9 years in prison for Las Vegas armed robbery.

Simpson, acquitted of the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter Ron Goldman in 1995, was convicted of the armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2007.
The 70-year-old former American football star and actor claimed he had led five men into the situation to retrieve personal items and family mementoes that had been stolen from him following his acquittal on those murder charges twelve years earlier.
He had been sentenced to 33 years for the robbery but was granted parole in July.
Simpson will now be subject to supervision by the state Division of Parole and Probation until September 2022.

At the age of 70 he surely can't be a threat to the public any more, he's an old age pensioner, dirty old man.

Maybe you missed it, but he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers.

Gotta have sympathy for the guy .
Falsely charged with murder and then getting jailed for stealing his own things

I'm constantly surprised by how your blatantly obvious fishing seems to get bites.

Let's see how this one goes.

He's going to have to keep his head down that's for sure. They'll be looking for any excuse to lock him up again.

Not sure why you are saying that .
He was found to be not guilty of the murders and he got convicted for stealing objects that he claimed were his own things

The Las Vegas mass killer, Paddock, was 64. If only he'd kept control for another 6 years.

In fairness, the evidence disallowed from his criminal trial was enough to get a verdict in the civil trial.

He lost only because the defence and the police fucked up.

I reckon he topped them meself.

    May be a genetic link?

His father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was a diagnosed psychopath, according to the FBI, and he was convicted of "bank robbery, automobile larceny, and confidence game."
He died several years ago, according to Eric Paddock, his son and Stephen's brother.
The bureau's poster on Benjamin said he had committed armed robberies, had "suicidal tendencies," and "should be considered armed and very dangerous."

He was an accountant and accounting is considered a very boring profession. Until he came along and adjusted the statistics figures.
