I read somewhere today there were 330 mass shootings in the US last year. Almost a daily occurrence. Don't know what constitutes "mass", but probably several...or more.

This is not a looney-tune shooter like Sandy Hook or the Colorado theater, these victims were specifically targeted, and most likely were involved with drugs or some other illegal activity.

DA says Wilkinsburg ambush that killed six was planned, calculated, brutal
By Dan Majors and Molly Born / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
The victims of Wednesday night’s horrific shooting at a family cookout in Wilkinsburg never had a chance.

Investigators said Thursday that two shooters — one armed with a .40-caliber handgun and the other with an assault-style rifle — staked out angles behind a pair of backyard fences just before 11 p.m. and mercilessly gunned down their targets, killing six, including an unborn child, and wounding three.

Children inside the house at 1304 Franklin Ave. were not injured.

“[The victims] were herded there on the porch. It was just horrible,” said Chris Taylor, assistant special agent in charge of the Philadelphia Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which is assisting with the investigation.

^A really brutal ambush. Shooter with handgun fired from one side, herding them to the porch area, where another shooter armed with an assault rifle, on the other side of the building, gunned them down, almost all with head shots, when they were jammed on the porch.

Given the neighborhood, probably drug-related, but some folks damn sure wanted them dead.

Some posters like to bang on about how violent and dangerous Thailand is.

Compared to Seppo land this place is a big giggle.
