I always suspected Australia was simply an ersatz society cobbled together from immigrants into a mongrel heap desperately trying to be something other than what they are: a dreary, dull brained lacklustre lot without any of the saving graces of their parent countries and all the stupidity of their adopted one.

But this latest bit of nonsense must surely dispel any notion they had something to offer and certainly elevates them to the heights normally scaled by gormless Asians.

Imagine it, because one is living in a different postcode a mere 3 miles away in a continent so fucking vast it takes near as dammit 7 hours to traverse by air and it constitutes a deportation offence? And what is the point of such a fucking law in the first place? Are they communists now and one needs an internal passport permitting travel from one state to another?

Unbelievable really unless one realises Aussies are just chickenheads with beer bellies, appalling dress sense and gibber in accents more suited to a rutting wildebeeste with a severe head cold.

Just watching the news video about this story , it's
Hard to decide who has the worst accent the Scots or the Austrailians -probably a draw.
While Melbourne and Sydney look like total multi racial 3rd world shitholes

I think Perth would still be the best bet for a nice place for a holiday or to live.

Cant argue with that mate, look at where we come from ?

Unfortunately we all originate from the ball sack of some sick Pommy fuk up who stole a loaf of bread and was lucky enough to be fuked off the the Brilliant Australia.

    Good Innit.

And I resent your accusation. I certainly do not have a beer Belly but the rest of your post is spot on.

They had visa conditions, they knowingly flaunted them and thought they'd get away with it.

    They should stop moaning.

But deportation seems tough without a warning first, tell them to move to a regional centre and start all over again.

Then if they don't, deport them.

Given they were 2.5 miles out of place, it does seem a bit harsh to deport them

I mean given that they are clearly unsuccessful petty criminals.... Living in a country founded on unsuccessful petty criminals.... You would though they might cut them some slack

Media story semantics, they were supposed to be in a regional area, not a major city.

Australia, like many countries around the world, has a big problem with attracting qualified professionals, particularly doctors and teachers to the areas outside of the major cities. Something like 75% of all people live in the major cities, giving rise to congestion, higher prices, infrastructure pressures and so on.

Out in the regional areas, lack of professionals means a lower quality of life compared to the big cities and thus perpetuates the brain drain to them.

Their visa is specifically set up to encourage migration to these country towns, their living in a suburb of Brisbane was just taking the piss.

Well, Mr Breen is a bricklayer. When questioned by the court, he shouldn't've used the word "fok" quite so much, I guess.

I had to laugh at that as it reminded me of this conversation I had last week with a Swedish Guy and an Aussie. We'd been sitting talking for about an hour when the Aussie guy left. The Swedish guy asked where my German friend was going. I said "he's not German but Australian". The Swedish guy thought the Aussie was German trying to speak English. Talk about taking the piss the next time I saw him.

    Perhaps they can't read.

Seems a tad harsh but I guess Australia has to do something about all these hardened criminals.

Funny old world. Scotland has areas where the population is being depleted, and are trying to encourage English families to go settle in rural Scotland.

As an Englishman that lived in Scotland for 5 years I'd say 'fcuk that'. You'll never be welcome and always treated as an alien.

Sure is. Extradition will be avoided when Scots come up with a cash donation to immigration officer I reckon.

^^ Offering a cash donation to an Immigration officer would only ensure a couple of years in the slammer before deportation , Oz aint Thailand.
