If you want to ride something that screams "I have enormous homosexual tendencies but I am so far in the closet that I pay property taxes in Narnia" why don't you just buy Eliminator's bike?

Not quite. The center of gravity is too high thus making it roll if you try to go a little swiftly through corners. And if you try to tweak it more, it becomes downright dangerous. And that is due to the electronics in the Rotax engine. If they sense that the rear wheel starts to turn faster than the front wheels, which it will if you try to go a little sideways through corners (one of the fun things with a three-wheeler), it will shut down the engine! And that can lead to you having a high-sider or at least a very nasty experience.

Handy for getting back from the boozer at a relatively safe 8mph. And a luggage tray for getting a BG back to the gaff. Gotta be a winner!

Serious question though I wonder if you can use them for getting back from the boozer as long as you stay on the pavement. Maybe there is no legislation yet?

    Sounds a great idea
-a mobility scooter to the pub !
but one pint too many.......... and
I don't want to end up like Stan, or the second lad here..

    1

Pensioner on mobility scooter rescued from 70mph road

A 90-year-old man had to be rescued after straying onto a high speed dual carriageway on his 8mph mobility scooter.

Motorists were astonished to see Stanley Murphy making his way along the A27 in Shoreham, West Sussex, as they sped past at 70mph.
Stanley Murphy took a wrong turning as he went to buy a newspaper and ended up on the road which resembles a motorway

    2

Pensioner on mobility scooter rescued from motorway

An elderly man ended up on the motorway in his mobility scooter after taking a wrong turn.

Motorists spotted the 89-year-old crawling along at 8mph in the hard shoulder of the M20 at Cheriton, near Folkestone, Kent.

Police were called in as cars, lorries and coaches hurtled past the man at 70mph on Tuesday afternoon.

He was eventually picked up by officers who took him home.

^once, when I was a youngster, went for a studio cameraman job that turned out to be a trainee cameraman for a late night XXX channel. Got offered the job, but turned it down; oh, what might've been!
