200'000 baht 7/11 sandwich

English man gets arrested in Bangkok for stealing a 7/11 sandwich!
His family paid 200'000 baht for his release.
(I met this guy and he lasted 2 days in Ayutthaya before he was
arrested again for stealing and deported!!)

I laid a complaint with the Police against an employee stealing a 320,000 Baht motorcycle from me. Even though I can take them (the cops) to him, after 4 months the cops havn't bothered to arrest or even look for him.

He should also be fined for his bad taste about food, the 7/11 sandwiches are horrible.

I think "stealing" is one of those occupations protected by immigration laws? - it's for Thais only.

Have you tried telling them you will pay them to do there job? Usually you have to, a friend paid police 10,000 baht to get her 30,000 baht motorcycle back and she had it back in 2 days.
Try asking them how much it will cost you to get it back.

You need to get a police report from the police, then find the guy then phone the police, well thats how it works in Pattaya.

I was robbed last year of 125,000 THB from a safe in my office. I wasn't the only office robbed, but I was the winner apparently.

Despite having 10 offices robbed, the police didn't even bothered to show up even though we came down to the police station for a formal complain. They promised they will come up in the next hour. I guess they got drunk on the way and forgot about it.

My Thai is excellent, but, I just cant help myself, I just like simple bread and ham sometimes but they have come out with tuna now...
