Can anyone give a home to a homeless cat?

I rescued a half grown Siamese cat from two soi dogs the other day and now the poor little thing needs a home.

It is mainly white with brown ears and tail and is very calm and friendly.

We can't keep it because we already have four cats and two dogs.

    It is male.

Siamese cats don't make good pets by thier nature had one (one of three cats, two show Persians) before and the thing would'nt let me near. Maybye cause i used to rig "big game hunter" nets for the top of the second floor stair balcony (lived in a colonial 4 story mansion when I was younger} and snaging it . good mousers , though. Found it a good home with some homies and they had to deal with it

^Willy, I would if I could, but I am a bit of a meathead at that kind of thing.

However there is a happy ending in sight.

One of the British girls I work with is going out with a Thai vet and he is going to help.

DJ Pat thinks he can take it in January when he moves into a house and the vet will keep it until then and vaccinate it and all that.

    I hope Pat comes through.

Well actually he is not a vet, he is a Wet, so that probably makes a difference.

Oh ok, shame - we're thinking about getting a(nother) cat and this one sounded perfect. I refuse to buy pets, adopting (or being adopted by - depending on your point of view) a pet is much more satisfying in an odd sort of way.

Anways, good luck with the home finding thing!

Maybe slightly off topic but ...

A German inventor says he's found a way to make cheap diesel fuel out of dead cats. Dr Christian Koch, 55, from Kleinhartmannsdorf, said his method uses old tyres, weeds and animal cadavers.

They are heated up to 300 Celsius to filter out hydrocarbon which is then turned into diesel by a catalytic converter and the resulting "high quality bio-diesel" costs just 15 pence per litre.

Koch said the cadaver of a fully grown cat can produce 2.5 litres of fuel - meaning around 20 cats are needed for a full tank. "I tank my car with my own diesel mixture and have driven it for 105,000 miles without any problems."

No, similar to rabbit, but don't tell Lily, she might take offense.
