Madrid based soccer superstar names his new born son….. after himself.

Ronaldo senior obviously gave up on trawling through the various “baby name” books and was left to choose a name himself. I wonder how long it took him to think that one up. Perhaps he ran out of ideas when he couldn’t find the name “dive’in cheat’in b-stard” in any of his books.

Agreed, choosing a baby name can be difficult. You don’t want a name which is either to common sounding, or too posh. Also you need to consider children bullying in the playground due to funny or rhyming names. Perhaps the Beckham’s idea of naming after the location of child conception is a good idea (Brooklyn Beckham)

Imagine how proud Ronaldo senior is going to be when the kid throws his toys out of the pram for the first time!

Brooklyn was a better name that Mank Slapper Residential Area frequented by more Slappers.
