Thread: The Meanest Dog?

Gowing up on a farm in the states we had our share of dogs, mostly mutts and inbreds. However throughout the years, we had; a German shepherd, a St. Bernard, numerous hound dogs and a Rotttweiler. As life goes, some lived for a year or two and one an Australian shepherd lived for about 18 years. Hell of a dog.

But the meanest? A scrangy inbred between a German shepherd and a hound dog.

This dog would follow me on my chores regardless of the weather and if a stranger showed up ,then Katy bar the door. Never did have a collar or leash on this dog and never did any sort of training. Just one mean dog. When I left home the dog left. Actually, I think my old man shot her as he could not stand the dog.

So what kind of dog do you think is the meanest?

^Ex wife.No doubt at all!

Any dog without proper care or attention can turn mean and nasty.

I guess that would apply to ex wives also.

Here on TD rumor has it the meanest dog around is.

We got one bastard case toy poodle.
I'm not joking, it may well not be big but it's ucking agressive.
Even the scanky soi hardened mongrels are frightened of it.

An injured dog can be nasty too.

I do think he has been following me a bit!

This dog is worlds ugliest dog, but is supposed to be quite sweet.

So we shouldnt just inside of thing by how it looks outside.

Guess we can say same of people..but i think thats not easy everytime.

There are some psycho dogs around just like psycho people. Best to just shoot them ones. But generally, I reckon a dogs personality is moulded in much the same way as humans,-- half by genetics and half by the environment in which they are brought up.

I am a dog lover (and animals in general), but you got to remember that dogs are evolved to be hunting and killing machines with a very strong social element in their makeup. Hence the reason they can be ruthlessly violent and brutal to enemies or prey while passive and loyal to family. Its up to us how we mould those genetic traits into something compatible within human society.

I think one often finds psycho dogs around psycho people.

Back in the day my girlfriend's stepfather had a German shepherd named 'Mutzie' who he kept locked up in the old coal room in the basement. The dog was vicious and it used to growl when anyone went near the door. In three years of visiting the house I never saw the dog but I think it was the scariest dog I've ever known .

Ive got a toy poodle as well, he is a narky little [at][at][at][at], had a go at me a few weeks back and managed to remove some skin off my hand, little fucker got a flying lesson out over the front gate.
