^ I'm just learning about this but I have to disagree with you that processed (or canned) foods are as nutritious and healthy and organic fruit and veg and game meat. There are other reasons for shorter life span. The example always used are the Masai and Maori people, and I read (sorry forgot the source) about teeth being much healthier in 'cavemen' than ourselves. It's hard to argue against the optimum diet for human health being raw fruit and veg and raw hearty meat. The human pre-grain era diet.

Common diseases, such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes - the list goes on, are a new phenomina. I think it's pretty obvious that westerners are pretty far from living healthier and longer lives than ever before.

Rather, the 300 workout was the finale of months of training, a kind of graduation test, after actors had weight lifted and trained with tools such as medicine balls and Kettlebells (cast iron weights with handles).

It's daunting, and includes these weight-training moves:
    • 25 pull-ups
    • 50 deadlifts at 135 pounds
    • 50 push-ups
    • 50 box jumps with a 24-inch box
    • 50 "floor wipers" (a core and shoulders exercise at 135 pounds)
    • 50 "clean and press" at 36 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise)
    • 25 more pull-ups -- for a total of 300 reps
There's no rest between movements and the score is based on total time, Twight says.
How many over handed chins can you do ant? I can only do 10 or 12 at a time and each set I do the rep numbers goes down. It really sucks because I uses to be able to rip out a bunch of them....when I was 20.

The theory is that we are at optimum health when we eat the way our bodies were designed to in cavemen type environment,
SO only eat once every three days, burn 3500 calories per day looking for food, and average life expectancy roughly 32 years old.

    Right.

^ Our bodies are at optimum when food is in abundance. It's pretty simple. Do you know anything about this or just picking a fight?

^ mmm hmmm. Maybe I could send you a copy of the info, you can read it, and then be in a position do discuss / argue the topic.

You disagree for the sake of disagreeing. Think about the point you made for a while, then read my posts again. And if you wanna be a prick about it I just won't engage you.

nope. disagree cos I think your wrong.

I presented 3 points for your consumption aiding that conclusion.

You prefer to think I'm arguing for the sake of it, fill your boots son.

The theory goes like this. The most physically strong and healthy humans with the longest life spans lived in areas where fresh meat and fruit were in abundance.

Does anyone really think the 32 or whatever expected life span has anything to do with nutrition?

    These are most strange statements.

For the first part I already mentioned that our problem is the too much, causing all those problems.

Despite that disadvantage it is pure bullshit to deny that we are living longer and healthier than ever. OK the healthier is a problem but only because we live longer. At old age we are not as healthy as a 40 year old 100 years ago, that is if he lived to be 40.
Medicine is one part of it but the permanent availability of quality food is another big part of it. I mentioned in my earlier post why food was not as good as it is today before industrialisation.

I read the e-book, found it interesting, didn't do the regime though. Already eat clean and avoid sugar as much as possible. Don't drink clean though, but you've gotta have balance.

About once a year I'll have a Maccas burger, feel like shit afterwards, and vow to never have another.
