@Armstrong - is there something wrong with having a bendy index finger? Surely that's a sign of flexibility, in fingers & other stuff? You can see more of my bendy finger and the arm it's connected to on post #8675 - the one where I pointed to the twin waterfalls.

@happynz - I know that song. It's by Beyonce - Destiny's Child had split up long ago. Maybe you mean the song "Independent Women" by the same group?

Katie, are you hiding anything from us?

I remember seeing that finger somewhere before.

Have you ever felt the urge to phone home?

I didn't know stick insects were on the Isaan menu until recently:

    Post a photo a week, of anything/anywhere-stick_insect_1939-jpg

Apparently they are very tasty barbecued...

BTW, is there a thread on bugs and edible bugs already?

Was looking at house prices on Zoopla for Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, surprising affordable considering where in the UK they are situated. On my list of possibles for somewhere to move to behind Cornwall and the highlands of Scotland.

^ Looks nice and fresh. Haven't seen daffodils in a while. Scotland (and Ireland) are great places to live, when it finally stops raining.

^which are the daffodils? The pure yellow flowers or the yellow-white ones?

More pix from my recent trip to the mainland. Why do they put money in the tiger's mouth? Is it for good luck? What's the symbolism behind the tiger? As you guys know, I'm not Buddhist - would like to know. Thanks in advance!

@tc - dang, I knew that I also should've placed money in that tiger's mouth. I'll just put money in the basket in church tomorrow - will that be the same? Else, I'm destined to live my life in poverty... Sigh...

@chitty - yeah, I liked the monk pic too. Was rare to see them cavorting in a waterfalls. Thnx for reloading the pix. Did I swim in that waterfalls? Yes I did, but no pics!

Edit - maybe I'll have that as one of my entries in the religious themed photo comp...
