Koninginnedag Amsterdam 2010. The Queens birthday celebration. This was last Friday.
The city centre is shut off from traffic for two days of drinking and fun!

I've got some more pics.. might get round to a thread.

been here Sa Kaeo on/off since Dec and fulltime since before Songkran; renovating a house, maybe two, section clearing. Love the farm life, but miss the rugby, miss the beach - about 170k to Laem Sing/Chanthaburi, heading there next week.

Like my new neighbours? I think they like me . . .

I heard some commotion in the Klong today, went out and had a look and could see some big fish swimming around.

Threw in a line and in about 2 minutes got this fish on my line.

Ended up giving it to the guard and he said it will cover his dinners for the next 3 nights.

LT, did you bother to bait the hook? Those buggers will snap at anything! The fish, I mean.

Looks like Genghis has been torn another arsehole....

He'll be used to that playing with the Viagrabonds.

I see the lads came away with silverware from the Pattaya 10's without scoring a single point!!!

Our ten's end of the month, 2 members here will be playing for the Viagrabonds.....

I've tried sprinkling catnip all over it and putting its bowl of food at the top.

    But he won't be fooled.

Ha Ha Ha. I bought one of those, cat just turned around and went and slept in the middle of my bed.

I tried the cat nip (he only likes it wrapped in an old tea towel) etc. Eventually gave the "cat house" to a friend. Also the damn thing took up a lot of room.

Now all he has is bits of paper from cigarette packets to play with, and his toy mouse. And the real ones he manages to catch.

He's not gonna be very co-operative with this thing so I'll have to starve him until he bothers to climb up and get his food.

Nah, Sydney boys don't do Gold Coast. We can bugger up our own harbour all by ourselves, no need to go elsewhere

If my missus would of brought me the pool scoop when I called her about 5 minutes but as she was busy cooking your apple pie about 20 minutes in the end.

Problem was I was using a lightweight guage fishing line and I had to wait for the fish to exhaust itself before lifting out of the water.

No mate that bamboo rod is used to knock the coconuts out of our trees and to catch the Dokgars.

I used a small fiberglass rod with a very small reel and I was lucky to land this fish. I am waiting another hour before I wet a line as the masses are hungry.

I'm having a piece of that delicious freshly baked "American" style apple pie as I am writting this entry. Without the ice cream though as I'll have to wait until this evening to get some of the ice cream from the market.... plenty of the pie left though so will have some this evening for dessert with plenty of ice cream to go along with it.
