Everybody cheats. That's been my experience. It's how much damage the cheating does that matters. If you lose a girlfriend of a few months, no big deal. To lose your wife, kids & home is devastating.

Not sure if Little Red means women can have emotion free sex full stop, or that women can cheat on their lovers with no emotion. The first I would agree with (done it), but not the second, particularly if family is involved (that doesn't mean that women don't cheat, just that I think they are likely to feel the guilt pangs & find ways to justify themselves.)

I was cheated on by hubby throughout my marriage, but funnily he has never to this day admitted he cheated even once.

I don't think any other long term boyfriend has cheated, though I've had casual boyfriends where we were both involved with others (in my dim & distant youth!).

I've never cheated on any LTR. My feeling is if you're not satisfied with your relationship, you do the decent thing & get out of it before starting up with someone else. If you don't want to leave the relationship, then you work at it & stay monogamous (unless there is a prior agreement to the contrary, of course.) Just an old fashioned gal...

I was referring to the former;women are capable of emotion free sex. The whole cheating thing is a very personal matter. Personally, I think I'd find a very close friendship more threatening than a one night stand! I could forgive a one night stand,quite easily, but wouldn't be able to forgive or forget an affair-it's the whole emotional attachment thing.

From my experience I tend to agree, most people cheat. I have many friends but not many of them are blissfully happy in their marriages. I think the difference is some get found out some don't!!! Maybe a more realistic approach is necessary.
