    Well let them.

I find it inoffensive, appropriate and quite funny.
    I thought it was funny.

Doesn't really look like genuine dried blood anyway.

I know because I met this flipper bird a few weeks ago and after going out a few times my begging and pleading finally came to fruition at the weekend and she agreed to stay over on Saturday night, which was great except she sprung a leak in the middle of the night (don't know if the full moon brought it on - funny how the lunar and mentrual cycles are the same length).

Anyway my bottom sheet looks like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

P.S. Good effort getting in the paper NR

Yes, NR does a good job down in HH.

Well done and hopefully the article will bring with it some positive things in the future.

The trick in Thailand is to cull them while they're still healthy and sell them to China so the slants can put four of them in a small cage and set them outside a restaurant, eh Smiley? Dogs go missing around my neighborhood all the time.

^ Soiled anything and if there is some female bodily fluids on it. Strange lot those Nips!

Anyway they could hang loopers bottom sheet up on the wall, call it the Japanese Flag and pay homage to it everday.

Not a bad idea Loy Toy. It does sort of resemble a Jackson Pollock style variation on the Japanese Imperial WWII flag with smudges and streaks radiating out from ground zero.

^That's looking like the only option, due to it being beyond repair rather than any resemblance to the Jap flag. Unless I can get some interest from the state or private art galleries.

Not as good as the baseball bat in a porn movie either unless you have plenty of vaseline

There's a village near Udon Thani where the dogcatcher drives around in a truck. He'll offer you a new plastic bucket for any stray dogs you can catch -- or your own dog if you're tired of it.

I seriously doubt there's any animal shelter or kennel at the end of the line for the dogs involved.

    Well done NR.

    imo.

Actually you're spot on, pai nai ma. There were several instances where I was misquoted or the wrong impression given in the article & the bit you've mentioned was one of the biggest.

We do (& have) euthanised dogs. In fact, one of the most popular articles we've ever had in the BKK Post was May last year & talked about the very sad but necessary euthanasia of two dogs - one called Vito in January last year & one called Si Khao in May.
We do not euthanise dogs unless they are suffering, beyond hope or have no quality of life, but we do do it in those instances.

Thanks for the nice comments, all.

LT, I don't have bank acct details here with me (I'm at an internet cafe, until I get things sorted in the new house), but they are on our website, under 'How you can help'. Cheers.

Up to you. But my point was genuine and not meant for shock value.
Taking offence is just so subjective and often the excuse for censorship by those who prefer their truth varnished or otherwise moderated so as to accord with their own sensibilities.

Perhaps you are being a tad precious here.
