I think she is so far ahead that it would take some months of redding by everyone on the board to knock her off.

thoroughly deserved too.

the best combination of nice/thoughtful and intelligent on the board.

Cheers, CMN. I do get redded. Probably not as often as you, but I get them.

Good effort by NR but it has occured to me that longer standing members may be at a disadvantage on total rep count standings due to RPI (Repo Power Inflation).

Repo giving power is a function of X * Longevity + Y * Post Count+ Z * Repo + other stuff which I can't remember.

Anyway if all these factors are all increasing for all posters all the time then Repo giving power suffers from a slow but exponential and compound rate of increase.

i.e. being greened by a big hitter today may be worth quite a bit more than it was 2 years ago so newer members benefit from an accelerated trajectory.

To solve the problem the repo power scale should be normalised so that Dog power stays at 70, or whatever it is, and other posters rep power is always between 0 and 70 depending on X,Y and Z. Long standing posters could even start a campaign to have these measures retro-applied to all historic repo. However it is not really a problem for them as long as they go on posting. If however they took a year off and came back they would find their repo stocks diminished in value.

Maybe interest could be accrued on repo holdings, which would be another solution. However, interest rates vary widely from country to country so US based posters would lose out significantly under this scheme due to Federal reserve monetary policy.

don't understand any of this repo stuff. It's a mystery of that upper world, scarce dispersed (not sure how to spell that) amongst us common folk.
