The point in all that training can be explained by any trooper, it is safety and handling a gun in a safe manner while cun control means that you will not miss what you shoot at, at least good gun control means that anyway.Originally Posted by Bluecat

Just get the license plate number and call the police; that's what they're there for, otherwise you are a murderer and deserve to be imprisoned for the rest of your life.
Anyone who can't work that out has got to be seriously stupid.

Shooting a bloke in the back while he is fleeing the scene is the right thing to do?
The really scary part is that you actually believe it.
There was some news a couple of months ago about a neighbour who shot a couple of youths in the back while they were fleeing the scene of a house breaking. Texas again of course. He was testing out a new law they have there.
Will see if I can find the link. It was on BBC News I think.
^Couldnt find the printed story. but heres a link to the video.
BBC
Noodles, talking out your ass again eh? Of course we do not have the facts of the case. On its face, as reported, OF COURSE this would be murder or at minimum a manslaughter charge. Any first year law student could tell you that.
Nowhere in America, can you walk from a conviction of shooting a fleeing victim.
Would it be OK to say "on its face, as reported", he murdered the man? Because that's what we are all talking about here. No one here is claiming to be an eye witness, and I think it should go without saying that we are all commenting on the case -- "as reported".
And another recent controversial case in the US BBC NEWS | Special Reports | NY shooting police acquitted
This is where the guy made his mistake. Had he shot him in the bedroom, he would have got off.Originally Posted by chinthee
