    ^^

From my short time in Nan I think I could recommend the Thai place on the corner next to the farang food place. Best yam mama I have had in Thailand came from there

I think I went looking for that place when I was there, only to end up driving round for ages and eating at a BBQ place instead. What was the name?

There is one in Nan, which I recommended before.

Quite a lot to do around here really, although in practise one doesn't really do it much.

    Theres-
Pattaya and all of it's carnal, venal delights.
Several bars and restaurants in the local area too, not just Thai and English- Korean, Indian, German, Belgian etc too.
Quite a few fishing parks around
    Many golf courses
    The Sports Flying Club
Beaches- for decent ones go south of Pattaya, or north if you're not bothered going in the water
Touristy stuff- the Croc Farm, the Tiger Zoo, Elephant village, Nong Nooch gardens, some Aquarium, Ripleys, Pattaya Tower & park, so on.
    Deep sea fishing.
    Rowing on Lake Mabprachan
Horseshoe Point Equestrian centre (occasional concert nights too)
    The Bowling Club
The annual longboat & buffalo racing

There are a couple of threads on Nan, pics of the place and directions, as well as general Nan info in the "Northern" regional forum.

    DaDario's
    tel. 087-1845436

It was started by a Swiss guy, now continued by his Thai wife, mostly Italian and Thai menu, all good.
