So you believe this forum should be more moderated and if someone says something bad about another forum it should be deleted, or perhaps worse, they should be banned, or do you think that the majority of posters are adults and should be respected as such and should be able to post their views, and lets face it we are all adults, in fact some members are really old gits, who should decide what they are allowed to post? Me? You? My dog? Where would this moderation stop? This is the stage tv has been at for the last few years, they all have no foking idea of when and where the moderation should be, should their gay members be allowed to talk about barboys they have foked but the hetro members aint allowed to talk about that sort of stuff? How could you expect a moderator to decide on this sort of thing?

I should add that it is the really old gits that get the most posts deleted trophy, bloody nasty some of these old gits

But I really cant see anything more pathetic than threats of a ban or a holiday, I mean yeah, they posted shite they knew they shouldn't have, maybe they were pissed, or just had a really bad Thai day, but to threaten people with something so insensical as a ban which takes 10 seconds to get round, well it seems pretty pointless to me.

Interesting. I was just recently viewing a short thread on TD where two of the posters were banned. If banning someone is pointless then why have they been banned?

P.S. I hope this type of post is OK on here. I know it is frowned upon on TV.

If the time comes that we have to ban people we do try to make it stick, people leave trails all over the internet, so we try to find them which anybody can do, we have 3 people banned from td and a few idiots that we just fok around with, banning somebody is a waste of time, but when you mention their bosses name they agree with the ban and generally don't come back.

I admit it is more of an aggressive thing than most forums do, but we cant waste our time on these people, we also do similar things to the scammers and spammers, we are very aggressive on this sort of thing whereas most forums are placid, if we ban a user name we don't want them back, so we have to make sure they don't come back.

sadly the rottie in my avatar is dead now, so major decisions that are really important to the forum are put amongst the moderators and we discuss them for hours, but then we let little minnie make the main decisions

I have a lot of fun on this forum. I've spent about 1 hour on Thai Visa.

When I read posts like this I get the impression that most members here post with an eye on TV. Like this is the bullpen, or minor league.
Maybe so, maybe not.

But I couldn't name one member there. I thought it was sterile and uninteresting. I never received a message from any mod. Just thought it sucked.

I was a fairly regular poster on AF but the demise of that cesspit is obvious. ('Cept for the above-board teachers -- I pray they have a secret forum where idiots need not apply)

Not sure how a thread about enjoying the feeling of TD spirals into a disussion of TV.
