^ I live in Brisbane. Sydney is only 900 Ks.

It was night. I didn't see any cameras, nor see a flash. And there were no tolls on the roads I took.

    What is it?

In a moment of insanity I actually toyed with the idea of buying a 2008 V8 Vantage going for $75000 with 75k on the clock. It was in Perth so I would have had to fly over there and then drive it 4500 km back (probably shipping it would be better as the 4500 would cost a chunk in mileage deprecieation alone) but for a car that special it would be the kind of distance worth going.

But what sort of motor is worth going 1800kms for?

I have since sobered up and am thinking about maybe going for an Audi A5 when my loverly old jag eventually throws in the towel although she is going strong and sturdy at the moment.

And why did you drive it back at top speed in a one nighter?

If you are not working you could have done a lazy footloose batchelor's camping and fishing trip up the coast over a week.

obviously a boot full o' meth or smack or something - too wired and white line fevered to notice the pigs standing in the road trying to slow him down.

The east coast roads are chocka full of these types - most are driving 44 wheel rigs so at least he's got that going for him.

Carn't fault Audis for performance and comfort, I'm gonna treat myself and get the A7 later in the year.

The kick down and acceleration are superior to the Jaguar.

I'd recommend some special number plates that deflect the speed cameras rays or some other gadgetry.

Just claim your ex-wife had promised an extra creamy bowl of porr..... Some judges would associate with your need to get home quickly.

It's penalty the points, not the Oz dollars.

As he's on the cusp of going over the "acceptable number", more points mean no morning porr...., confiscation of breakfast bowls and a driving ban.

Given that latinprancer is a broke ass, unemployed loser, we have to remember that this is probably his new "home" and cut him a bit of slack. Not easy living in a car I think.

are the states connected now for points deductions ?

but as reddog said - use cruise control - especially on those multi lane freeways

he was lucky it was not school holidays - I got done in NSW during school hoildays and it was double the fine and would have been double the points if I had a NSW licence

I was done on the hume highway many years ago 30+ over the limit and the copper told me that if I had had a vic licence they would have impounded the car

my last trip back to oz , I drove melb-syd-melb and used the cruise control everywhere - min 40 kph - I used it through a roadworks zone on the hume highway and about 6 cars stacked up behind me , though I am sure they were relieved when they saw the highway patrol car parked behind the road roller at the end

We are talking about LD here. A serial complaining whinger who would happily debate the difference in chemical composition between Paracetamol and Panadol, because, you know, he’s a world expert on pharma.

I’d written something more appropriate but then realised this is not the doghouse and my vow to be polite outside the oghouse. So that edit was all I could think of.

I'm sure it was all a misunderstanding and the owner of the car allowed LK to speed and collect points . . . unless it was an Asian woman, in which case the bitch had it coming . . . plus he told her she had to pay HIM the fine.

So, who's car was it Karen?

Was it a friend or a sale?

Who goes to Victoria to buy a car for Queensland?

Many details don't add up here, buddy.

WE can see who is a witless clown here and it isn't KW . . . rather the prick who borrows a car, gets a speeding fine and leaves it to the owner to pay it.

You're simply scum on so many levels
