That was Edison's work...trying to market his DC product and make AC look bad.
There's a youtube of it at that link...but I don't have the heart to post it. Disgusting.Edison's aggressive campaign to discredit the new current took the macabre form of a series of animal electrocutions using AC (a killing process he referred to snidely as getting "Westinghoused"). Stray dogs and cats were the most easily obtained, but he also zapped a few cattle and horses.
Edison got his big chance, though, when the Luna Park Zoo at Coney Island decided that Topsy, a cranky female elephant who had squashed three handlers in three years (including one idiot who tried feeding her a lighted cigarette), had to go.
Park officials originally considered hanging Topsy but the SPCA objected on humanitarian grounds, so someone suggesting having the pachyderm "ride the lightning," a practice that had been used in the American penal system since 1890 to dispatch the condemned. Edison was happy to oblige.
I think two other guys founded and named Tesla the electric car company. Shortly thereafter Musk came along with his Paypal billion$ and horned in.
I think Smeg hacked him.
I've just read online that Vern Unsworth is taking legal action...Vern is a UK citizen who lives in Thailand on a retirement visa. Musk is American so would it be an American court that sanctions the action or would he have a claim under the Thai computer crimes act?
Here's a link to a story about suing Musk. He (Unsworth) should try and stick it up him )Musk) as I'm sure he would end up with a few bucks out of it just to allow it to go away. It seems to me that Mr Musk likes a bit of publicity but maybe not this kind.
British cave diver considering legal action after 'pedo' attack by Elon Musk
This says he's "mulling it."

Musk: "Bet ya a signed dollar it's true."
That's worth about a plugged nickel...
Say what?
Maybe he should sue you as well.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...k-by-elon-muskUnsworth, who lives in Thailand, was among the first cave divers on the scene in Mae Sai after the boys from the Wild Boars football team and their coach became trapped inside on 23 June.Rescuers have said he used his knowledge of the cave system and networks in the cave diving community to marshall a response that was crucial in locating the boys 10 days later, and helping to free them last week.
Maybe the kunt just needs to pollute space with another shit car to feel better?
The market has spoken, down 5% in 3 days.

think the diver should keep quiet before he makes a complete ass of himself
the diver started this rubbish by publicly stating that Musk is after a PR stunt and that he should stick his sub up the backdoor,
totally uncalled for
the diver is simply stupid - there are sufficient numbers of daft brits in LoS - don't need anymore
The seminal work on Tesla is Margaret Cheney, I case my rest.

I find such public displays on Twitter are entirely distasteful.
Invite them both to the Swampy, Onnut thread so they can thrash it out drunk, old loser style.
^ Jeez Cujo...you're up early after such a late night on the sauce
As billionaires do I suppose, Musk may have done a routine background check on those involved and discovered something that isn't as it should be. Otherwise can't see why he would post such a provocative comment, even if he was pissed off for not pwning the limelight.
Staying on the fence for now.
He generally is not known to hold back when attacked. He should have but he frequently says what he is thinking. He has been ruthlessly attacked for a long time, much of it as coordinated attacks from vested interests.
Sometimes I think he overextends himself which may become a problem. He is very much needed for the success of SpaceX and Tesla.
