I just received my Japanese spouse Visa!

Very happy day today. My 1 year Japanese Spouse Visa has been granted.. Woop WOOOP!!

So relieved!! all the documents we had to arrange, mother-in-law guarantee, bank statements, etc.. it was a quick and painless process in the end...

I've just been so stressed waiting those 10 days... tik tok.. Now I know how they feel waiting for a Visa - my whole life was in the balance. Anyway, worried about nothing, now I have 3 months to put my plan into action - and get ready for doing business/living in Japan...

Now if Nth Korea can just hold off shooting a rocket at Dick's virgin arse, I'll be a happy man 55

So, this is the first step in my adventure. I will document how I go about buying a car/house, renovating, converting to classrooms, expenses, how I advertise my business, everything, success or failure, I will put my heart and soul into this venture....

Was easy, to be honest.

Applied in person, didn't need a COE (cert of eligibility) just her mum's guarantor form, my bank statements,

After the first year, I can apply for 3 years, then PR (permanent residency)...

No Visa runs, so I can focus on building a life there.

Frankly I am fed up feeling like a pussy here because I have a hard time trusting the government. I come from Yugoslavia originally, so I am seeing certain things that mirror my country.
